Move. Play. Heal. Breath. Flow. Transform.

The Kentucky Yoga Festival is a three-day yoga, meditation, music, and arts festival held in the beautiful rolling hills of south-central Kentucky. Designed as a space for deep connection, embodied healing, and conscious community, the festival invites yoga practitioners, teachers, healers, and seekers of all levels to come together for a weekend of intentional living and mindful exploration.

Nestled alongside the Little Barren River, Kentucky Yoga Festival offers a nature-based setting that supports nervous system regulation, grounding, and restoration. The land itself becomes part of the practice—inviting participants to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the rhythms of nature. Whether you are drawn to yoga as a physical practice, meditation as a pathway to inner stillness, or holistic wellness as a way of life, this gathering creates a supportive container for growth and integration.

A Yoga Festival Rooted in Healing and Embodiment

At its core, Kentucky Yoga Festival is a healing-centered yoga festival. The schedule is thoughtfully curated to include a wide range of yoga workshops, meditation sessions, and embodied practices that support physical alignment, emotional well-being, and spiritual connection. Offerings often include gentle and restorative yoga, breathwork, mindfulness-based meditation, somatic movement, and workshops focused on self-inquiry, nervous system awareness, and sustainable wellness.

This is a space where yoga is honored as a holistic practice—one that goes beyond postures to include presence, awareness, and relationship. Participants are encouraged to listen to their bodies, move at their own pace, and engage with practices that feel nourishing and supportive. Many attendees are yoga teachers, wellness practitioners, and students seeking continuing education, inspiration, and authentic connection within the broader yoga community.

Nature, Movement, and Play as Medicine

The natural landscape surrounding the festival provides ample opportunities for exploration and integration. In addition to yoga and meditation, participants can enjoy kayaking on the river, spending quiet moments resting in the shade of the riverbank, or simply being held by the land between scheduled offerings. These moments of unstructured time are an essential part of the experience, allowing insights from workshops and practices to settle into the body.

Movement and play are also woven throughout the weekend as pathways to healing. Evening offerings often include dance gatherings, chanting, drum circles, and live music—creating space for expression, release, and joy. As the sun sets, stargazing invites reflection and awe, reminding participants of their place within the larger web of life.

A Conscious Marketplace and Creative Expression

Kentucky Yoga Festival is home to the Third Eye Market, a curated gathering of artisans and vendors offering goods that support conscious living and holistic wellness. The market features herbal teas, crystals, body care products, yoga attire, and a wide range of handcrafted creations. This space allows participants to connect with makers, learn about plant medicine and intentional products, and bring home items that support their ongoing healing journey.

Creative expression is an important aspect of the festival experience. Art, music, and shared ritual are integrated into the weekend as ways of fostering connection and cultivating a sense of belonging. These elements help create a multi-dimensional environment where learning happens not only through instruction, but through experience, relationship, and shared presence.

A Homegrown, Grassroots Yoga Community

Now in its eighth year, Kentucky Yoga Festival remains a homegrown, grassroots, and environmentally conscious event. Care for the land, respect for community, and a commitment to sustainability are woven into the fabric of the festival. This is not a large-scale commercial event, but a gathering rooted in relationship, intention, and shared values.

Many who attend return year after year, drawn by the sense of belonging and the integrity with which the festival is held. Whether you are new to yoga or have been practicing for decades, you are welcomed as you are. The Kentucky Yoga Festival community values inclusivity, authenticity, and the understanding that healing is not linear—it is relational, embodied, and deeply human.

Kentucky Yoga Festival is an invitation to step out of the pace of daily life and into a weekend of presence, practice, and connection. It is a space to remember what it feels like to live in alignment—with your body, your breath, the land, and one another.
