Katie Grace is a free spirit with a passion for life and nature. She has been practicing yoga for half her life, but within recent years has deepened her practice through healing the mind-body connection with subtle awareness. She is accredited with the Yoga Alliance and uses her teaching philosophy to allow others to create space for themselves by tuning into the breath. Through this awareness, she believes the mind becomes of conduit of strength and love for the body.
Mindful Nourishment: A Sensory Exploration (Beginner) Through mindful meditation, story telling, and exploration of the senses, students will be invited on a journey to connect with their food in a meaningful way, from seed to hand and beyond. Slow Burn: A Yin Yoga Experience (Beginner) Students are invited to release the "issues in the tissues" by slowly settling into grounding postures for several minutes at a time, tuning into both physical and emotional sensation in the body.
Lunar Abundance (Intermediate) Students will be guided through an intention setting practice through the power of oracle cards, essential oils, & a lunar based yoga flow. After setting our intentions, we will invite them into our postures, breathing them in & sending them back out into the universe. After class, students will be invited to release their intentions into a community bowl for burning.
